  • Business Development Manager Off-Grid & Mini Grids

    IPS is looking for a motivated, ambitious and result-oriented Business Development Manager Off-Grid & Mini Grids. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new markets worldwide, building successful relationships with new and existing clients and offering IPS cutting-edge technology EXERON used for electrification of off-grid sites. This position provides the opportunity to join a growing team, contributing to further market expansion and market penetration across Africa, Southwest Asia and the Middle East.

    International Power Supply (IPS) is a 28 years experienced company specialized in the R&D and manufacturing of power electronics and energy conversion technologies. The product portfolio includes 33 different product lines applicable in numerous sectors such as Telecom, Mini-grid. Oil & Gas, Defence, Utilities and others. IPS’s products are operated currently in 58 countries on all 7 continents.

    The global headquarters is located in Sofia, Bulgaria. As part of the successful growth of the company, IPS is expanding its Business Development team and is looking for a motivated, ambitious and result-oriented Business Development Manager Off-Grid & Mini Grids.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    The role will require an individual capable of managing and executing a wide range of activities incorporating:

    • Research and identification of new market opportunities within the off-grid & mini grids sector;
    • Client relationship management, building and maintaining long-term relationships with new and existing clients;
    • Act as a point of contact for all new contract opportunities and coordinate cross-functional activities;
    • Represent the company at meetings, conferences and exhibitions abroad;
    • Keep up with the technological trends in the world market;
    • Prepare technical and commercial proposals.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • University degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or similar;
    • Relevant work experience is an advantage;
    • Genuine interest in the industry, following market trends and emerging technologies;
    • Strong interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communication skills;
    • Collaborative ability to work with peers across many departments within the company;
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities;
    • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills;
    • Knowledge in the field of Electronics/Electrical engineering will be considered an advantage;
    • Excellent written and spoken English;
    • Willingness to travel abroad;
    • Clean driving license;
    • Knowledge of MS Office, particularly Power Point.

    IPS is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Manager Off-Grid Power in the Defense sector. The main application of our leading product EXERON, all-in-one modular power conversion system, is in remote areas without power grid. The system is specifically designed to provide reliable and autonomous power supply for different types of entities in the defense and military segment such as: military bases, radar and missile systems, air bases, temporary camps and others.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    - Research and identify new market opportunities within the defense sector;

    REQUIREMENTS:

    - Experience in relevant position;

    - Excellent communication and presentation skills;
    - Knowledge in the field of telecommunications equipment, mobile communications, telecom power systems will be considered a serious advantage;
    - Experience in the planning, sales, operation or maintenance of telecommunication equipment, power systems, UPS devices and similar will be considered an advantage;
    - Clean driving license, category B;
